My links are not working when I put my files to the testing server. I am testing on a Testing Server and I can't really go coding each link as I'd have to put them to the old current site.
How to make site root-relative links work in DW and Server both? This article seems close and I do think the way my hosting is set-up is what's causing the problem. Which is I have a few sites under the same package deal with my hosting company. Some are add-on domains and some are sub-domains; don't know the technical difference between either but it did cause me hell to set-up the sites.
My current Root Directory includes public_html/ which the article condemns; however I cannot get the site to work without this. I have noticed that my navbar works from the first page click, but when I've visited another page from the index I'm unable to navigate to the index page again from the navbar. It seems to be adding whichever page I'm on to the path. E.g. say I'm on concretepokerrepair.co.uk/bespoke.php and I click on 'home' I get 'concretepokerrepair.co.uk/bespoke/index.php'; how weird!
Any ideas?
