Issue: Printing Word to PDF adds margins

    dlz217 Community Member

When I print to PDF from Word 2010, the output is adding additional margins to the document. As an experiment, I've set the margins to 0 (the text flush to the edge) and when I print the output has about 0.5" margins all around.

This does NOT happen if I use Word's native Save As > PDF. This is only happening with the Adobe PDF virtual printer.

It is likely a setting you have. If you open the print menu in WORD and select the Adobe PDF printer, does the print preview look correct? If so, can you print it properly. I just tried it and the print preview showed all the way to the corners as designed and the PDF came up the same way. Are you actually printing or using PDF Maker? What version of Acrobat are you using?
