Hi,

I'm transitioning from Adobe Ideas that I used frequently on my iPhone 6+

On the iPad version of Draw I can't seem to find a 'fill' tool.

Any ideas?

Many Thanks,

~Robert.

There is no fill tool in Draw, but the long-press gesture has been kept and is the same as in Ideas. When you long-press on a region, it will get filled by the current color.

Hope that helps,

This works with finger or passive stylus but doesn’t work using connected Jot stylus.

you have to hold down the gesture button on top of the brush icon button, then use your Jot touch or any pressure stylus you use to activate the fill by holding it down on the areas you want to be filled. also the gesture button work the same way when you do the pinch and zoom you have to hold that gesture bottom icon thingy. then do the 2 finger pinch and zoom gesture.

Hi Phillburt, what you're saying is correct, but only if you have Palm Rejection turned on.

Hi Rhianne.

You're doing it correctly but one thing to know... Fill will only work in a closed shape so make sure that your lines meet (in this screenshot it looks like they don't).

Test it drawing a circle and I think you'll understand better how it works.

Hope that helps.

Sue.
