I cannot install the 11.0.3 RoboHelp Patch. I have manually downloaded it, unzipped it and then tried to install it. A message tells me I do not have Administrators rights even when I install using the 'Run as Administrator' option from the Windows right click menu. The update option is also grayed out on the Help menu in RoboHelp, so I can't use that option either.

Hi there
Sounds like it's time to get your IT staff involved. It's likely tied to the rights available when you log into Windows. Those are different rights than what you see when you run applications such as RoboHelp.

Hi Rick,
I have full administrators rights on the computer. I am also using the Run as Administrator option on the right click menu. The Adobe error message says updates have been suppressed by the administrator - which does look like a Windows message. However, prior to originally posting on the Adobe forum I did get the IT staff involved - they have verified that i do have the appropriate permissions.
I suspect that the problem is actually within RoboHelp. Here's the Help menu.
Although there is a valid update - 11.0.3. - the Updates option is grayed out. In other words there is a valid update to download, but RoboHelp does not recognise it.
Cheers,
Phil

Thank you. This solved the problem - although in the meantime it got escalated up to a high level in my company (a major multinational) because of the security implications.
Anyone else with this problem should note that these patches are not cumulative. There are currently three patches for RoboHelp 11. They have to be downloaded and installed in sequence.
