Giraffe65 Nov 12, 2014 3:55 AM (in response to Bernd Alheit)Hi Bernd
There was just a button to press next to the document I wanted to download. The icon started revolving suggesting the pdf doc was downloading but no where to be found on my Ipad (I should explain I am new to Apple). The document downloads ok on my windows 7 computer.
I hope you can explain my ipad issue.
Thanks

Giraffe65 Nov 12, 2014 6:24 AM (in response to Bernd Alheit)Hi Bernd
Sorry I am not sure what you mean. All I can tell you is that its next to a pdf document on the webpage. It is my bank website and there are a whole list of documents on the page so I just press the go button next to the doc I want to download. This is the button I click on the same webpage on my Windows computer and it downloads the doc.
I am now thinking this maybe a webpage only suitable for downloading on windows operating systems is that possible?
Many thanks again

May be that this webpage is not designed for the use on iOS devices.

7. Re: PDFs not downloading
Giraffe65 Nov 12, 2014 10:12 AM (in response to Giraffe65)I have resolved this problem. I found I needed to allow pop ups in the web browser. This has led me to unblock pop ups in Safari then when I pressed the PDFs button in the bank webpage up came an option to open the pdf in iBooks. Did this and found the doc in ibooks. Alls well that ends well.
