I recently de-activated PSCS6 from a dying 10.6 Mac and installed PSCS6 on to a new machine that had been upgraded from 10.9 to 10.10 before anything was installed. 10.10 has proven to be a disaster (not related to PSCS6) so I have erased the HD and am in the process of downgrading to 10.9. During that process I realized I had not de-activated PSCS6 from the 10.10. Question is, does PSCS6 activate on the machine itself or on the OS. Will PSCS6 recognize it is on the same machine after reinstallation on 10.9 or will I have lost one of my two copies?
