    Play Button doesn't work :-/

Just downloaded and started the tutorial for Premier Pro and, for some reason, the play button doesn't work :-s
This is the same for both the source monitor(top left), and the program window(top right).

When I click the play button it changes from the play triangle to the stop square but the actual clip doesn't start playing.

      Anyone have any ideas?

As i said this is a completely fresh install and run of the program.

          Hi druid,

If you don't see anything in Premiere Pro when you click the Play button, then either no clip is selected or the playhead is at the end of the sequence. You can also press Spacebar on your keyboard to start/stop play of the active window. Watch this video and see if it helps explain the Premiere Pro interface to you: Overview of the interface.

          Best,

          Stefan

Thx for the reply Stefan :-)

However it's neither of those problems :-(

On the upside though i've just fixed the problem hehe :-)
Turns out the soundcard wasn't setup/selected in Audio Hardware, it was set to system default which i changed to internal and it worked, then changed back to system default and it changed the buffer size and also added all the correct ins and outs and now its working fine :-)

Tips for anyone else on how i worked this out is that when i scrubbed through the video there was no graphical audio metering happening on the right which put me in the direction of an audio problem :-)

            Thx again :-)
