    Photoshop Elements 13 and Flickr

    peter.milton15 Community Member

I cannot download photos from PSE 13 to Flickr. I get the message "There was a problem with your internet connection. Please check that a firewall is not blocking Elements Organiser from accessing the internet and you have an internet connection".  I do not have any problems with the Internet and I can download to Facebook from PSE 13 and send Emails with attachments using PSE 13 also everything else works from my computer to the internet. I have tried to get it to work with my firewall turned off but without luck. I have also tried "Edit - preferences -Adobe partner services - clear online services data - OK" which I saw in another disunion about a previous version of PSE again no luck. I have also checked on the Flickr Forum but there is nothing on there.

I have a desktop PC running Windows 8.1 and also have Norton Internet Security.

I will be grateful for any help.

      Peter

I have the same problem as well. Looks like an Elements bug perhaps

Same here. This has been an ongoing problem with PSE for the past several releases. Very annoying that Adobe is not fixing this. Adobe? Any help? Please?

              Hi,

Does Adobe ever respond to these comments?

I chose Elements partly because of the so-called integration with Flickr, but I cannot get it to work at all!

On version 13 now and still being sold as having the functionality.

Is there an email address I can formally complain to?

I'm on PSE 13 and Mac OS X.

No, they don't answer. They don't even provide support for their consumer products. You get a few days of support for "installation issues" and that's it. Adobe is on a mission to lock people in to their cloud service so they get you trapped for ever paying yearly fees. With no option to take a pause and remain on the product as per what you currently have. Very Nast business practices.

As for this problem: they have zero interest in fixing it. Flickr is a competitor to their cloud plans.. .

I've sadly got to agree with williamtnyc. Adobe put products out there, and once they have our money don't care whether the products work or not. I've just had exactly the same problem with Flickr integration as is being reported here. Looks like it's a ANOTHER bug. And where's Adobe, saying "OK - we hear you - we'll get it fixed"? They're not listening - they don't care. We've given them our hard-earned cash for products that don't work as advertised. Awesome Adobe - nice one. Really makes your loyal customer base want to keep coming back - NOT.
