As I went to open photoshop and continue my workflow this morning, I found an error message that said something along the lines of my actions were unable to load. Restarting the program and computer didn't work to fix the problem. I have Photoshop CS6. Luckily I had my downloads saved and was able to individually reload all my actions into Photoshop again, but I am paranoid that this is going to happen again and I'm not sure why it happened in the first place. Help!

If you save the Actions into the Presets/Actions Folder you can at least easily load them from the Actions Panel’s fly-out menu.
I have biloxed my actions with an errant swipe of the stylus over the actions panel. It is unfortunately very easy to do. So I try to enforce some discipline and whenever I make a change to an action I save the action set. I also have a complete copy of the prefs and all panels tucked away in another folder. It is fairly simple to swap them in whenever I have messed it up.
