1. Re: How to set Media Encoder to render composition backgrounds
Todd_Kopriva Nov 17, 2014 1:07 PM (in response to Sknygrydg)If you want a specific color in the background, then create a solid-color layer as your background layer.

2. Re: How to set Media Encoder to render composition backgrounds
Dave LaRonde Nov 17, 2014 1:09 PM (in response to Sknygrydg)If you don't need an alpha channel, you can use a solid in any color you want as the bottom layer.
If you DO need an alpha channel, it doesn't matter which color it is -- it becomes invisible one it's in another application that can read alpha channels.

3. Re: How to set Media Encoder to render composition backgrounds
Sknygrydg Nov 20, 2014 1:33 PM (in response to Todd_Kopriva)That doesn't answer the question - that's a work around.
Your answer tells me that there is no setting in media encoder to render out my composition without an alpha. The only way to render without an alpha is to alter my composition to make it compatible with media encoder.
Seems like a strange way to program your software.
