Migintosh Nov 19, 2014 4:19 AM (in response to mishmapetla)Can you take a screen shot of a page that has a problem? Turn on hidden characters so we can see what kind of breaks you have. Use the camera icon to upload the screen shot to the forum.

P Spier Nov 19, 2014 4:30 AM (in response to mishmapetla)This kind of behavior is commonly caused by some combination of Keep options on the paragraphs surrounding the odd break, very often with the paragraph following the one that breaks set to keep with previous, or the one that breaks set to keep with next, for no good reason.

mishmapetla Nov 19, 2014 5:12 AM (in response to P Spier)Hi Pieter,
Thank you. Unchecking the Keep lines together seemed to have worked in almost all place. But not all. I have tried the Recompose Stories but that didn't do anything. Reducing the space between text and footnotes has solved the issue on other pages.
Thank you-great tip!

mishmapetla Nov 19, 2014 5:20 AM (in response to P Spier)Hi Pieter - yes I did. I'm now using the Keep together option where I don't want orphans on the next page only. Thanks - didn't know about it.
