1. Re: premiere cc 2014 crash after i import any video file...
RameezKhan Nov 21, 2014 3:53 AM (in response to avscor)Hi,
Please please more information about your computer.
If you have Intel HD graphics, please go to File > Project settings > General and change the GPU Acceleration to Mercury Playback Engine software only before you import any media.
Thanks,
Rameez

2. Re: premiere cc 2014 crash after i import any video file...
avscor Nov 21, 2014 4:03 AM (in response to RameezKhan)hey, Thanks for the comment
I have- win 7 pro, 64 bit, i7 4700mq, intel HD graphics and nvidia quadro k1100m, 32gb ram, and it's a laptop.
I'll try what you suggested.
And the computer will deside for itself if to work through the "intel HD graphics" or the "nvidia quadro k1100m"? or should i tell the computer from wich one to work? (and if so- how should i do it?)
thanks!! -
3. Re: premiere cc 2014 crash after i import any video file...
RameezKhan Nov 21, 2014 5:02 AM (in response to avscor)Hi,
I would suggest using Premiere with the Quadro card. You can make that change under Program Files > Adobe > Premiere Pro > Right click on the exe and select Run with Graphics processor > High performance NVIDIA processor.
You can permanently change it in the NVIDIA Control Panel. Add Premiere and GPUSniffer in the list and choose High Performance NVIDIA Processor. Report back if it helps you.
Note: Don't forget to add GPUSniffer.exe
Thanks,
Rameez
