AME from PPCC inserted random segment of video into timeline on render

This is a new issue that we have never seen before.

Maybe somebody here has seen this and knows what is happening.

Typically, we render four versions of our show from a single timeline, due to the need for different types of media and different leader elements, such as a broadcast slate for individual stations.

On this particular render, the first version out of the queue ended up with a "replaced" piece of video over about 40 seconds of the show. It is a random segment of video that was in the project but had been trimmed from the show.

Interestingly, the audio remained from the piece of video that should have been there.

As I said, this was the first render off the timeline.

All three versions that followed out of the AME queue were perfect.

The first and last renders were both broadcast standard HD, Apple ProRes 422 (LT) .mov files. The second was an MPEG-2 DVD render for our distribution DVDs, and the third was an MPEG-4 clip for our website.

The first render is the only render that was affected. No changes were made to the timeline once all four renders were queued up in AME. And AME was not started until all four renders were queued up.

Here is a screen shot of my Mac setup.

I have not been able to duplicate this issue in recent renders off the same timeline.

The only thing I can see that may have had an effect was this:

I have 12GB of RAM allocated for Premiere and only 4GB for everything else.

Also, it is optimized for Performance, instead of Memory.

Not sure if either of these may have caused the problem.

Any insight into this issue would be greatly appreciated.

      Thank you.
