1. Re: Acrobat pro XI won't download on my MacBook Pro Yosemite
Sara.Forsberg Nov 11, 2014 8:22 AM (in response to 12x6x24)Hi 12x6x24,
What happens when you try to download Acrobat? Do you get an error message? What browser are you trying to download from? Are you able to download it directly from this page: Download Acrobat products | Standard, Pro | XI, X - Adobe
Please let us know how it goes.

2. Re: Acrobat pro XI won't download on my MacBook Pro Yosemite
12x6x24 Nov 11, 2014 8:37 AM (in response to Sara.Forsberg)I get the white box with a ribbon. I click on that and the computer then asks for my password to give it permission to download software. When I do the computer accepts my password but then nothing happens. The box is now sitting in my dock but does nothing when I click on it.

enplaned Nov 11, 2014 10:01 AM (in response to 12x6x24)Same here. Not only that, but I couldn't even complete the purchase on my computer. I had to do that on my phone. It wouldn't display the credit-card panel on the checkout page.
And now, I have paid for the service, but I can't get the installer to work on my computer. Also have Yosemite. This is really stupid. As 12x6x24 says, may be time to launch a twitter campaign.

12x6x24 Nov 21, 2014 11:53 AM (in response to enplaned)It is now almost a month since I purchased XI and I cannot download it. The page I was directed to by Sara Forsberg doesn't even have a link to download it.

Sara.Forsberg Nov 21, 2014 12:04 PM (in response to 12x6x24)Hi 12x6x24,
Please check that link again, and make sure that you're looking at the Acrobat Pro XI download section. (There is no Acrobat XI Standard for Mac OS, so if you expand that top category, then you won't see a Mac download.)
Make sure that you're signed in as an administrator, and disable any antivirus software before you download and install.
Best,
Sara

Sara.Forsberg Nov 21, 2014 12:24 PM (in response to 12x6x24)I can totally understand your confusion. That install file is multi-language, so there's just the one. (But since you pointed that out, it does seem very confusing.)

enplaned Nov 21, 2014 12:25 PM (in response to 12x6x24)Look at the following discussion and follow the tips there. It worked for me:
Re: Acrobat installer (acrobatpro11_dlm) hangs indefinitely on Mac OS X Yosemite; known issue?
TL;DR -- use the Creative Cloud installer. You may also need to run the de-installer on prior Adobe installs.
It worked for me, and I had the same problem as you.

11. Re: Acrobat pro XI won't download on my MacBook Pro Yosemite
Sara.Forsberg Nov 24, 2014 7:54 AM (in response to 12x6x24)Hi 12x6x24,
No serial number is required for an Acrobat subscription. You just need to sign in with your Adobe ID and password, and you should be set.
Best,Sara
