2. Re: PS CS6 Extended Trial version "suddenly appeared" - Did I do that?
gener7 Nov 23, 2014 8:57 PM (in response to JA_BB_W)I have something like this happen on Illustrator CS6/Windows 7.
Basically click on "License this product", Sign in with your Adobe ID and Password if asked, then use the "I have a serial number" option.
Enter your serial number and activate if asked to.

3. Re: PS CS6 Extended Trial version "suddenly appeared" - Did I do that?
JA_BB_W Dec 3, 2014 12:20 PM (in response to JA_BB_W)Update. Still have issues...
Thanks for the replies, but I found that this problem was addressed in other areas. The common fix was to update Photoshop CS6 to the latest version from within Photoshop. Well, for some reason I can't do that.
I try to open Photoshop, get the splash screens to continue my "Trial" and agree so that I get a clean screen. Go to Help > Updates >> then the popup says checking for updates...
A screen pops up to say that either the servers are down and a connection cannot be made OR my firewall settings are blocking the connection. So, I turned off everything I can under Norton and try again. The same pop up screen appears and I can't connect.
Does anyone have an additional link that might help. Are there other things to turn off besides anti-virus and firewalls. I did do the Adobe test to see if I could connect to the Secure Site and it was successful (got the two Adobe logos.)
Is the next step to attempt a manual download and update. But since I use all the default folders for installation, it seems that Adobe could find their own update data. Anyway, does someone have other links that discuss this?
