I have an old laptop without windows. Can I use the Digital Reader? I wanted to download one so I can get e-books for my NOOK but when I downloaded it I get an error report every time I try to run it.

As further detail, I managed to successfully download the MSN .Net4 requirement (or whatever it was) and the icon has appeared on my desktop.  I am not computer proficient and wouldn't know where to start regarding 'administrator' access.  I'm particularly unimpressed with Adobe not dealing with my enquiry themselves.  Here's hoping you guys can help.  Cheers

I have the same problem, could not download to Nook because it said my device was not authorized, yet when I click on the Nook it says it is... very frustrating.  Adobe Digital Editions is not user friendly at all!!!!!
