By the way, exports are not to be considered "backups" in any sense, your title implies you are using this as a backup

99jon Nov 23, 2014 2:55 PM (in response to dougwate1941)If the ehd’s are formatted for Windows it will only work on the Mac as read-only. Suggest you try exporting to a SD card.

if that doesn't help you, try using Google. Type in "write permissions Mac".
