Boltface Nov 23, 2014 3:21 PM (in response to JJMack)OK, Normal it is but how do I "remove all white"?
The bottom line desire is to select the tournament boxes and content and paste it onto an existing background of action photos of the kids in the tournament.
Thank you for your help!

Benjamin Root Photography Nov 23, 2014 3:48 PM (in response to Boltface)For that particular image, one click in the white using the Magic Selection wand will work great.. You may want to go into refine edge and adjust the "shift edge" feature to get all of the numbers

Benjamin Root Photography Nov 23, 2014 4:21 PM (in response to Boltface)Oh sorry, you'll need to right click and "inverse selection" before copying. Right now you will have a copy of the white....

Boltface Nov 23, 2014 4:36 PM (in response to Boltface)I'm probably not being clear about what I'm trying to do. Here's a typical poster. I use the magnetic lasso to select an image, copy and paste it resulting in this.
This time it's to be a team picture with small head shots of each player, action photos in the background, similar to this. I can do all that but I wanted the tournament chart to lay on top of the background with just the boxes and enclosed info showing. I know I can use the magnetic lasso or the poly lasso but I don't have enough patience for that.

Benjamin Root Photography Nov 23, 2014 4:48 PM (in response to Boltface)Yes, press the Shift button if you want to add to the selection. In the video I just posted you'll see me transform the score size. I pressed shift+Alt (opt) to constrain proportions and keep the center point

jml007 Nov 23, 2014 7:33 PM (in response to Boltface)To save objects with a transparent background, save the file as a PNG file, this eliminates the white background.
