1. Re: How to import files to the Cloud?
JimHess Nov 23, 2014 4:05 PM (in response to rugfoot)There is no provision for linking the regular desktop version to images stored in the cloud. This is true whether you are using the standalone version of Lightroom or the creative cloud. However, with Lightroom you can install Lightroom mobile on your Apple IOS devices, and you can have collections of images synchronized with the cloud and your Apple devices.
Depending on the number of images you are working with or plan to work with, you may want to consider installing a second hard drive or storing all of your images on an external hard drive.

It is my understanding that you require a Creative Cloud license for the LR Mobile functions.

JimHess Nov 23, 2014 4:36 PM (in response to DdeGannes)Yes that is true. But I assumed that since he said he had the creative cloud, that was an option. But maybe I misread.

rugfoot Nov 23, 2014 5:01 PM (in response to DdeGannes)Thanks for your input. Yes, I'm aware of the mobile cloud funtionality. But it's big cameras I'm interested in using it for. At least, I can stop looking for something that isn't there!
