I have installed flash player on my pc and it was working well until I installed creative cloud.  Now when I try to enter a chat room, I am denied entry because I do not have flash player.   I've tried the trouble shooting suggestions but they haven't made any changes.  What can I do?  I'm using windows 8, IE 11

Is it (Shockwave Flash Object) enabled?

Do you have ActiveX Filtering on?

I don't know what shockwave flash object is.  Flash player is enabled.  I've tired with active x filtering both enabled and disabled- found no difference.

I've clarified another piece of the puzzle.

When I go to flash player help, system information show flash player disabled.

At the same time, if I open memory add-ons from the tools, it shows flash player enabled.

Does this help with a solution less radical than a reset?

Thanks for your help
