Doesnt allow transferring Adobe DRM EPUB  from my KOBO Touch PC to ADE 4.0

I have this problem too. I have been downloading epub books from my local public library (in the UK) for a couple of years with no problems but recently had to wipe the hard drive on my laptop and reinstall windows plus all other software including Digital Editions; now I get the Error! Check Activation message every time I try downloading a book - very frustrating!

Please try de-authorizing and authorizing again. Hope this solves your problem.

I followed the detailed instructions for de-authorising and authorising

again but still have the same problem when trying to download a book

I deactivated and activated and it worked for me! All good now.

can you please confirm the build number of ADE 4.0.2? It should be 4.0.2.103411

The build number is 4.0.2.102973, which was downloaded only a couple of

weeks ago as presumably the latest version. How can I download the build

number you quote? Thanks

I've downloaded 4.0.2.103411 and checked that is the build number on the

installed versiopn, but am still getting the same error message when I try

downloading a book

I'm also having the Error! Check Activation message pop up after downloading the most updated version of Adobe Digital Editions and attempting to open ebooks. This also happens when selecting one of the sample ebooks provided on the Adobe website.
