the installation package could not be opened...

Running msiexec.exe /i "install_flash_player_15_active_x.msi" on a Windows 7 x64 machine I receive an error message starting

"The installation package could not be opened......"

A damaged file is given as the main reason for this error which is why I have downloaded the file again from the following link http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

I still receive the same error.

Any suggestions?

Just to make sure your download is not damaged, what is the downloaded file size?  It should be 18,493,440 bytes.

I have tried downloading it several times now and it is always 18,063KB

I'll try to download it a again next week

That sounds about right; however, you should check the exact size in bytes (under Properties).

I downloaded the file from the US server instead of the Australia server and this file works okay.

Not very impressed but at least this file isn't corrupt.
