3. Re: Photoshop CC 2014 Yosemite lag
Adam Jerugim Nov 18, 2014 11:07 AM (in response to Levitsky)Try disabling both the Welcome screen and the Libraries panel:
1. To disable the Welcome screen, go to PS Help > Welcome... then scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the "Do not show welcome screen again" check box. Then close the dialog.
2. To disable the Libraries panel, use the fly-out menu from the panel itself and select "Close"
3. now quit and re-launch PS
Is performance better now?
If not, try disabling font previews:
Type > Font Preview Size... > None
Please let me know if any of this helps get performance back to what you'd expect.
Thanks,
Adam

7. Re: Photoshop CC 2014 Yosemite lag
Adam Jerugim Nov 20, 2014 9:39 AM (in response to Levitsky)Try deleting your PS prefs by physically deleting the prefs file located at:
1. Quit Photoshop
2. From the "Go" menu in OS X, hit the Option key to expose "Library" - then navigate to \Library\Preferences\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Settings\Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Prefs.psp
3. Delete "Adobe Photoshop CC 2014 Prefs.psp"
4. now re-launch PS
Does that help improve your performance with CC 2014 on OS X?
Thanks,
Adam
