Jude Cotter Oct 14, 2014 5:23 AM (in response to robirdman1)You could try opening the disc with mpeg streamclip ( a free download) and then looking at the video frame by frame. You can use the arrow keys to advance a frame at a time.

SAFEHARBOR11 Oct 14, 2014 7:48 AM (in response to Stan Jones)The "DVDshrink" software might allow you to make a file of the disc onto the hard drive, then just Import the .vob files into Premiere

robirdman1 Oct 14, 2014 9:26 AM (in response to Stan Jones)I don't think frame by frame would be useful as I want to hear what is being played, just at a slower tempo and looped repeatedly, to figure out what is happening.

John T Smith Oct 14, 2014 9:44 AM (in response to robirdman1)I don't edit VOB from a DVD, so have NO idea if this will help... but might be worth a look
Directly editing a VOB... or Ripping a VOB to edit using a note from Jim Simon

6. Re: copy video/audio from DVD
robirdman1 Dec 1, 2014 6:46 AM (in response to robirdman1)Yes that worked great. At first I was confused as it asked to copy to a new DVD, which I didn't want to do, but then saw that I could browse to put it on the HD, where I imported a section into PP and looped parts I wanted and figured out what was going on to some extent. Thanks!
