john.case Dec 18, 2013 11:29 AM (in response to john.case)Whomever from Adobe called me and left a voice mail, didn't leave ANY contact info. You said you were going to send an e-mail but I don't have that either. Please reply with your contact info here so I can get in touch with someone.

Josh_Corey Dec 18, 2013 11:32 AM (in response to john.case)Hi;
My contact info won't be very useful as I will forward to the right team - please send me a phone number that Support can call you at and they will call you very soon. Email best contact phone to jcorey@adobe.com, may as well include a best email as well.
Thanks,
Josh

4. Re: Sales tax refund
whatevoh Nov 1, 2014 4:13 PM (in response to Josh_Corey)I also need to get a tax refund Josh. Please provide information on how I go about this and how I can get Adobe to stop charging me US sales tax when I am in Canada and from a Canadian company. I may be wrong here but I was under the impression that it was illegal to charge international customers your local sales tax?

Josh_Corey Nov 3, 2014 8:11 AM (in response to whatevoh)Hi whatevoh;
You would contact customer support, I forwarded your message to a support team who will reach out to you via the email you use for your AdobeID and may call if you have a phone number listed in your account. Feel free to send me a good number for them to call you at and I can forward that on.
Thanks,
Josh

6. Re: Sales tax refund
whatevoh Nov 3, 2014 10:57 AM (in response to Josh_Corey)Thanks Josh. I have tried chat support from Adobe but found it to be terrible. Extremely slow response times with the old 'Database Down' excuse so we can't help you, try again later.
Cheers

9. Re: Sales tax refund
whatevoh Nov 4, 2014 9:45 AM (in response to Rajshree)Rajshree,
Yesterday I emailed you with as much account info as I have. No response so far. Did you receive it? I logged in to my Adobe CC account and I cannot find and account number or order number anywhere. It is also not shown
on any of my email statements. Please provide instruction on how to find the buried order numbers on my account.
However, the info I have provided such as email, address, last 4 digits of my visa should be sufficient for you to locate my account and handle the refunds of my overpaid taxes.
Please advise.

12. Re: Sales tax refund
whatevoh Nov 20, 2014 10:06 AM (in response to Rajshree)I received your message but I have to repeat myself. My account has a different email address to this support account which I have already provided to you. I have also explained that even when I log in to my account there is no 'Order Number' that you are requesting. This order number is also not displayed in my email receipt. So I ask once again, where do I find my order number while logged into my account?

13. Re: Sales tax refund
whatevoh Dec 1, 2014 2:39 PM (in response to Rajshree)I have not heard anything more about this since last week. Please put me in touch with your supervisor as you seem to be doing nothing to resolve this mess. I first posted this issue weeks ago and nothing has been done. You are still charging me taxes unlawfully. Please refund my taxes and prevent further tax charges.

15. Re: Sales tax refund
whatevoh Dec 2, 2014 10:04 AM (in response to Rajshree)The last time I tried calling I was given the old 'oh our system is down' routine, please call back some other time.
Please provide an ETA on when you'll have finished the tax issues being ''sorted out in and in the process''.
Adobe used to be a respectable company. Now I feel like I'm dealing with a bunch of cowboys who ignore the law.

17. Re: Sales tax refund
whatevoh Dec 2, 2014 11:37 AM (in response to Rajshree)Unfortunately the GST number you've provided is irrelevant because it has nothing to do with the company name, address and tax ID that is shown on my invoices.
Here is the data shown on all of my invoices when I try to 'Print Invoice' in my admin section.
Adobe Systems Incorporated
75 Remittance Drive
Suite 1025
Chicago, IL 60675-1025
Federal Tax ID 77-001952
As you can clearly see, the address is in Chicago and the tax ID is a US tax ID.
If I try and claim my tax payments back from the Canadian Government, the first thing they'll want to see are my invoices - which are useless.
Make a decision Adobe. You either:
1 - Charge me from a US company with US invoices and stop charging me US taxes and refund my illegal overpayments
2 - Charge me from a Canadian company with Canadian invoices so that I can claim my taxes back
You can't have it both ways.
If I do not get a satisfactory resolution to this problem in the next 7 days I will be reporting this to the Canadian Revenue Agency.
