Flash Player installation on PC problems

YOU PEOPLE ARE LISTENING OR AT LEAST NOT ANSWERING THE QUIESTION!!!!

I have two computers running Windows 7

The download works fine but the install hangs when the "Adobe Installer" window comes up.  Yes, I have tried it offline.  Yes, I have cleaned all ref. to Flash Player off my computers.  I have tried it when the moon is full and new.

NOTHING WORKS!!

I have spent many hours working on this and on this site trying to get it installed.  Nothing.  If you have any real answers, please let us all know.

What browser are you using? I had the same problem with Firefox. They solved it for me. I posted the same question in Adobe & I have YET to have anything answered!
