Adobe Acrobat and Reader decreasing image quality from Indesign PDF

I have an Indesign document I would like to make an interactive PDF with different page durations. As this cannot be done in Indesign, I am exporting as High Quality Print PDF, and using Adobe Acrobat to set individual page durations for each page. After I have done this, when I put the presentation in full screen slide show mode, the image quality has decreased. This particularly bad when showing architectural technical drawings, where the crisp lines become heavy and bold. This is not the case when I open the PDF using Mac Preview - this lines are thin, crisp and clear! ac Preview doesn't have any options to let me set individual page durations - at least that I know of.

Can anyone help me fix the image quality in Adobe Acrobat Pro. I have tried Reader too, same issue.
