'Instant help' from your 'awesome support people' is a joke!

I've been trying for two and a half weeks to get a response now. My PC on which I had Digital Editions crashed and when I downloaded DE (from Kalahari.com where I had bought my e-books) onto my new PC and tried to open my e-books I got a message E LIC ALREADY FULFILLED BY ANOTHER USER. I was told by Kalahari to de-authorise DE on my old PC before downloading it onto the new one but I can't because the old PC is kaput. I can't do anything on it; it's not working! How do I get DE to work on my new PC then? All my other e-books are working just fine, just not those using DE.

Contact Customer Care

Try this link, it should give you an option to contact Adobe via online chat. Right towards the bottom, in the middle, should be a 24/7 Chat option you can click on.

I would think they could reset DE authorization associated with your e-books you've been locked out of.
