Why does my Kobo say that the DRM is not currently authorized with my Adobe ID even though it is authorized?

This is my first e-reader and my first time downloading a book from the library. I have followed the instructions exactly and am not able to open the book on my Kobo. I am able to read the book on my PC and my iPhone (Kobo app) but when I try to open on my Kobo it says that the "..DRM is not authorized for use with your Adobe ID...". However, when I go into Adobe Digital Editions, both my computer and my device are authorized. Both Kobo help and my library were not able to help me with this problem.
