Flash Player 16 Won't Install!

I've gotten a notification to update my Fp when I went to turn on my computer. I clicked install and then it said it couldn't. I then went to the website to download it and run the proper file to update. The file won't even open. I click on the icon itself and it still didn't work. I tried downloading it again, and even going to specifics to download the right file so I input Windows 7, Fire Fox and tried it and it still didn't work. Help please!

I had the same problem for Windows 7 and FireFox. After searching the site for a while in frustration, I finally found this option and it worked:
