Flash player installation on Mac - unable to proceed with the installation

This has been long time that I can't update my flash player. Could someone please help.

I am using a Mac and this issue has bugged me way before Yosemite.

When i tried to download the dmg to update my Flash player - about 75% of installation progress bar - it said unable to proceed with the installation.

I tried to un-install the flash player with the uninstall utility and there is no help.

Now I am stuck - I un-installed the Flash player and there is no Flash player on my computer. What can I do??

I had the same problem.  Later I found a post that said to use this link: https://www.macupdate.com/app/mac/4783/adobe-flash-player/download

It's worked for me.  Good luck.
