Retrieving Install Flashplayer

When trying to download the new flash player I download it and drag it on to my desktop, then once I click it it goes into a little window and it says "Retrieving Install 0%" then after half a second that message disappears  and I'm left with nothing but a blank window, unable to do anything and I've reinstalled and uninstalled so many times now and tried everything my head hurts and I want to hurt the people who made this stupid update! It's been days please help me fix this!

A little more information about what browser and operating system you're using would be helpful; however, try the offline installer appropriate for your system.  If that doesn't work, try rebooting the machine and running the installer again.  If you're still stuck, please provide some of the details outlined here: Read Before Posting: How To Get A Useful Answer To Your Question
