down load sits at 29%?

i am trying to install Adobe Flash Player on my Mac OS X

it will only down load up to 29% and stays there, it has sat at the percentage for 3 hours,  I quit my Safari, but it still does not load.   there is no error message just sits at 29%…I have a 10.7.5 version    11G63

  need help
