Hello Adobe forum,
looking for the reason why the flash player background update does not work.
Proxy:
fpdownload.macromedia.com and fpdownload2.macromedia.com is white-listed on company proxy.
Verification of whitelist proxy settings -> start cmd.exe as "system account" and downlad xml file"https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/update/current/sau/15/xml/version.xml"
cmd.exe runs as "SYSTEM"
set https_proxy=local_proxy.com:8080
wget.exe -t 1 --no-check-certificate "https://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/update/current/sau/15/xml/version.xml"
wget.exe -t 1 --no-check-certificate "https://fpdownload2.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/update/current/sau/15/xml/version.xml"
both xml files are successfully downloaded-> this mean no authorization via proxy is necessary because the process runs under "system account".

Procmon.exe says that FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe is not aware of proxy and goes directly to the source without using proxy.

Could you please confirm that FlashPlayerUpdateService.exe is not aware/not support proxy?
