what version of arcIMS? 9.2? what are you using? the cfx tag? see this:
http://www.roktech.net/devblog/index.cfm/2007/3/23/Update-on-the-92-Coldfusion--Connector-bug

if you're using the java connector did you forget to copy the java connector dir
files to cf's class path? btw 9.2, even through 3 service packs, broke the java
connector pretty badly--you might want to stay on 9.1 for the time being.

Hi Paul,

Thanks for responsing. It's ArcIMS 9.0 and I don't use any connector. I googled and found something about CFMX 7 processes all ArcIMS web services after installing but not sure how to stop CFMX 7 from doing that.

not following. cf won't interfere w/arcIMS webservices (not sure what you mean
by "web services"). what exactly is happening?

Paul,

After installing cfmx7, none of the ArcIMS 9.0 webpages loads. All users see is a blank screen. I checked all ArcIMS services and they are running fine. If I remove cfmx7, ArcIMS webpages load fine.

what are these "web pages"? html viewers? java viewers? admin apps? do you know?

still not sure what you mean but i guess you're *not* using cf w/arcIMS? you're
*not* running arcIMS under jrun? if so probably a servlet issue, see:

btw you *can* run arcIMS under jrun.
