I have a Presenter 10 project where I inserted an mp4 video, I published the video it works great when I preview it.  But when I view it through my LMS Adobe Connect it takes a long time to open for my users and it buffers several times throughout the video.  What can I do to improve the preformance?

You may try the following steps. It may improve the performance.

  1. Go to the Adobe/Macromedia Website Storage Settings panel
  2. Click on the "Delete all sites" button
  3. Click "Confirm"
  4. Clear your web browser cache and cookies
  5. Close all instances of your web browser
  6. Reopen the course and it should play properly

Rajeev.

You might also want to look at the bitrate and resolution of your MP4. If you inserted a HD video with a very high bit rate, it will probably play just fine locally, but you may not have the bandwidth to handle its delivery over the web. Try republishing (or publishing an alternate version) with a lesser quality video. Chances are you won't really be able to tell the difference between the videos, other than one will stream and the other may not.
