Flash Player installation problems

I have downloaded many times the update of Flash Player - 15.0.0.189  although I registered long ago for automatic updates. This has been working well for ages. I am using Mac OSX 10.6.8 and use Safari.The download is fine but there is no message continuing to tell me how to install. I have also uninstalled and downloaded again and still cannot install the update. Why is this now not being done automatically? I really need Flash Player to be working.

I am having the same problem> it isn't recognizing my apple ID to sign in and download Using Safari,  Mac OSX 10.7.5.

Isn't it time Adobe got their act together. Why are there so many unhelpful comments on Forum and no real guidance. I have repeatedly attempted to update Flash Player on a Mac pro and now have a list of installations but continue to suffer the FLASH OUT OF DATE. Any ideas go to Stephen Hayes , The Biggest Gang on Facebook, I am giving up with Adobe Forum.  Regards Steve Hayes
