Installation Problem with Firefox

Hi, I just got a new computer and I'm trying to download Adobe Flashplayer.  I'm using Windows 8.1.  I download the installer and run it and it almost gets to finishing the install when it asks me to close Firefox and further says the progam will continue running once I do so. I close out of Firefox.  I've tried "x" ing out and closing it through the task manager, but it still keeps giving me that message and won't continue the install.  I've also tried downloading from the site on adobe if you are having issues and it still does the same thing.  Please help.

It's okay everyone.  I tried it again today and for some reason it decided to work.  Probably the cold!  Hee!  Hee!
