why is that so hard to get the last flash player update?

I can't download the last flash player update for Internet Explorer because it always stops in the moment of the initializing.

It looks like the update get blocked so it stops working and nothing happens.

The only way was trying the direct flash player link to download the update.

Now the direct link leads me to an unavailable page.

Please, help me.

Mine stops at step 2 too. Is that ok for windows 64 bit. Or is it just for 32 bit.

The link above is for Internet Explorer.  We bundle both 64 and 32-bit installers together and install them as appropriate.

Can you be more explicit?  I'm not clear on what Step 2 is.
