I just bought Lightroom from Amazon, downloaded and installed it and it will not launch. I am so angry.

I've wasted a £100 and a couple of hours on this today. It should just work, its inconceivable that paid for software going on as a clean installation from a company as large as Adobe just completely fails.

It installed fine. Windows 7 64 bit

I tried both the amazon version 5 download and the direct latest download 5.7.1 from adobe.

When you click the executable you get a window in your taskbar that you cannot open. No error, nothing else. Utterly ridiculous and unresolved.

Already done that, I was then connected with someone on skype who told me to get my money back from amazon. He did not help, he refused to answer questions and removed himself from skype.  ADOBE you are a shambles. I have money waiting to buy this damn thing. Crazy.
