Flash Player Installer becomes Matlab-file

I am trying to update the flash player for my Mac but for some reason instead of opening the installer in the "standard program" (what ever that is) it is trying to open it in Matlab. Obviously that doesn't work, so if someone could help I would be grateful! I miss my videos pretty bad:)

please do the following:

1. Right-click on the file and select 'Get Info'
2. in 'Open With' select DiskImageMounter.app

Disk Image Mounter is found at /System/Library/CoreServices/DiskImageMounter.app.
