Why is ADE telling me to authorize an already authorized computer?

I am using Adobe Digital Editions 3.0 and I checked a book out of the library using it.  To do that I had to authorize my computer.

Now when I try to return the book, I get a message telling me to authorize the computer.  Of course, I don't have that option, as it is already authorized.  Now what...
