Current Flash Version listed Does not Match What gets downloaded

I saw that Adobe Flash 16.0.0.287 is available here: http://www.adobe.com/products/flashplayer/distribution3.html

The version I downloaded is still 16.0.0.257

Please fix!

AAMOF, this is the reason I came to the forum as well.

Adobe - Flash Player says current Flash for Chrome is 16.0.0.287 but the same page says that I have version 16,0,0,257 installed

How do we get Chrome/Adobe to update?

The reason I'm doing this because at the Walgreens AND Walmart websites, when I choose a store to print photo's at, the tab I'm in closes. The first thing Walgreens tech people say to do is make sure java and flash are up to date...

Update Chrome and I believe Flash will update as it is an embedded version.

You're correct! Updating Chrome did indeed update Flash correctly.

However, sadly, I'm still having the same issue with Walgreens.com. When I choose a store to print photo's at, the tab I'm in closes.

I've reset my passord - but it doesn't seem to work.  Why can't I download the flashplayer properly on this MacBook Air I have ???

Hi Eva,

The password being requested is you computer's password, it is not your Adobe ID.  The password you use to log into your computer.  If your user ID is not an Administrator, you'll need to provide an ID/password of an Administrator account.  If you don't have a password, you should be able to ignore the password field and click OK to continue.

16.0.0.287 was posted this morning.  It's likely that the new files hadn't propagated throughout the network when you attempted to download them.  I've confirmed that the new files are being delivered.  Please try again.  If you're still getting the previous version please let me know what your geo-location is.
