Cannot uninstall Flash Player "11.2.202.223 and 11.2.202.228"

Hello,

I cannot uninstall "Flash Player 11.2.202.223 and 11.2.202.228" located here: Archived Flash Player versions

I installed the .msi version of version 11.2.202.228 and was able to play .swf files. However, now I cannot uninstall for some reason. Even when I do using the "flash player uninstaller" and deleting the files in C:\Windows\system32\Macromed\Flash, it is still playing the .swf files.

How do I uninstall this version completely? Please let me know, Thanks.

Also, how is the .swf files able to play if I've uninstalled flash player?

Are you on a 64-bit system?  If so, also check C:\Windows\syswow64\Macromed\Flash

P.S. are these .swf files on your local disk?  If so, these would be played with the standalone player.  Check the file association of your .swf files.
