Adobe won't accept my new ID or password

I can't update Adobe Flash Player because it keeps saying either my password or ID are wrong but I changed the password and was able to get into the Adopbe.com site with it but not update the latest version of Adobe Flash Player! I give up. I've spent an hour on this already....

Hi Janet,


Sorry for your frustration.  The password being requested is not your adobe.com password, it's your computer's password. If you're an administrator on the machine, this is the password you use to log into your machine.  If you're not an administrator, you'll need to provide an administrator ID/password to install. If you don't have a password on your machine, ignore the password field and click 'OK' to continue.
