I am unable to install Adobe Flash Player.  The program downloads to my PC but when I click on RUN it goes away and never comes back.  The download program shows STEP 2 of 3 but never finishes installing.

Also, when I open the Adobe Download Assistant and try to log on with my user name and password I get "error 100".

Hi Terry,

I have  the same problem with Windows 7 32 bit and Internet Explorer 11. Here is what works for me:

1. Restart your computer (to stop any Flash Player install process that might still be running).

2. Go to the following adobe link.

At the bottom of the page  it says "Still having problems". Click the appropriate link to download Flash Player.

Click "Run", Click "view Downloads"

Installation problems | Flash Player | Windows

Good luck

Thanks for the tip. I will keep that on file for the next time the

program won't load up. What I eventually did was to clear all instances

of Adobe Flash Player from my computer then downloaded the latest

version (again). But this time instead of running it from Firefox, I

closed all applications and went to Start Search looking for the

Download file, then ran the program from there. It worked, so I am

thinking there is some incompatibility between Adobe programs and

Firefox. Don't know for sure, just thinking this may be the problem.

Cheers ........................... Terry
