Buttons on master slide?

Captivate 8 demo version.

Trying to put a button on master slide, but menu is inactive. Am i doing something wrong?

Currently using shapes with zero opacity to hover over my button-pictures so it would work as button with changed default picture.

The only interactive object that is possible on a master slide is the shape button; same for question/score slide:
