RoboHelp 6 error opening older files

When I try to open a file that was created by another user, in an earlier verision, I receive the following error. I have tried to open several files, rename the file, and place the file on my hard drive, and I still get the same error.

"Open project was cancelle, or the application was unable to open the database for file......."

How can I open a file in 6 when I get this error.

Sounds like you moved it to your hard drive after corrupting the file by trying to run it on a network.

Never run a project from a network drive.
