Exporting my .fla to a .mov, or any other file that's compatible with either iMovie or Premiere?

I've been looking up various programs, but none have helped me so far. I want to put my flash animation in a video, but neither iMovie or Premier support the .fla file type. I've heard of Perian, and I downloaded it, but I have no idea how to use it. I'm not very good with this kind of stuff, obviously. If anyone can help, or find a free converter for me to use with clear directions on how to use it, that would help me out a lot. Thank you!

I'm sorry if I'm posting this in the wrong place. If I am, please just direct me to the right area to post this. I honestly have no idea what I'm doing.

Hi Elizabeth,

I think you are in the wrong forum, this is Business Catalyst, you'll need to address this with the community from one of the video/flash related applications. If you have a .fla file then it was generated by Flash, and Flash can export to mov. If you have just the .fla file, if it was generated by a contractor you should address him for this operation. Here's a link to the Flash forum: Flash Pro CC - General

Kind Regards,

Alex
