Flash Install Question

I want to upgrade my flash player, and when I start, there is the option to install or not, a MacAfee Security program. I deselect that option. When I open the file to run install, it shows that the MacAfee program is installing. Why is this, when I deselect that option? This happens on my WinXP laptop and my Win7 desktop.

Are you running any ad-blocking or anti-tracking plug-ins that might affect the way the JavaScript on the page is operating? 

If so, it would be really helpful for me to know what they are.
